This meeting was held after submitting our pre-application to the city. It continued the conversation from the previous meetings, and included and overview of project plans and objectives, while providing an opportunity for the community to ask questions and make comments as we await the city’s feedback.

The May meeting was held virtually, due to COVID-19. We understand the community is facing many challenges during this time, but we felt it was still important to come together and continue the conversation to collaborate on the future of the East Palo Alto waterfront.

We were excited to share initial design concepts based on all the feedback we have received from you over the past several months.

Thank you for all those who attended the second Community Conversation at Bloomhouse. It was very inspiring to collaborate together and map out possibilities for the East Palo Alto waterfront. We truly appreciate your big ideas, optimism and participation in this iterative process.

In the January meeting, community members gave input on key themes that are important to them in the future development of the East Palo Alto waterfront.

We learned that the community wants a place to come together. The community envisions the waterfront as a place for enjoying parks, living, working, dining, shopping, markets, education and culture.
