Book your next event at Bloomhouse
Bloomhouse is a beautiful space for East Palo Alto organizations and community members to use for free events.
It can be used for community events, sit-down dinners, screenings, live music, workshops and trainings, service projects, and more. If you are interested, review the information below and fill out the reservation form linked at the bottom of this page.
Our reservable space includes the following indoor and outdoor spaces:
Community Room
A large indoor space with community mural, projection system with several connection points and 4 microphones.

A covered outdoor space with a stage area, large lights, a sound system connected with the indoor system and a stage area.

Policies
Approval
Events are approved based on the information entered into our Space Use Inquiry form. Last-minute changes to your event can lead to cancellation of your booking.Booking window
Bookings must be requested 3 weeks in advance, but no more than 4 months out.Availability
The space is available 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Saturday, depending on space and staff availability. Hours can be flexible per event needs.Cancellation policy
Please let us know if you must cancel your event, so we can give other community members the opportunity to use the space.Events must be free

Help us keep a low carbon footprint by using recyclable and/or compostable products when possible.Murals
There are many murals in the indoor space—please do not touch or lean anything against them.Restrooms
Restrooms are available on site—please treat them with respect. Please do not remove any products out of the restrooms including soaps, lotions and bathroom sprays.Shared space
Please respect that this is a shared space. We have staff and facilities on-site which also utilize the parking, restrooms, and kitchen.Children

What size tables do you have?
3’ by 4.5’ rectangular tables only. If you would like other tables you will need to supply them.What event supplies do you offer?
We do not provide table cloths, signage or any other event supplies. Please let a staff person know if you need to use the site's kitchen supplies.What kind of support do your event staff provide?
We do not have event staff. We will have someone meet you during your event set up to orient you to the site. You will need to set up, run, and take down your event.Can we bring our own lighting, caterer, speakers?
Of course! Please coordinate with site staff to coordinate load-in times.Can we decorate the space?
Yes, but do not attach anything to the walls, or touch the murals. The space must be returned to its original state after your event.Request a Reservation
